Addressing healthcare is a complex problem â the sort of problem that Cambridge is good at tackling. In this lecture Sir Leszek will discuss the changing nature of global disease, and of healthcare. He will explain how health, education, social development, and agricultural development are mutually dependent: and how health has become a measure of societal development and national wealth, as well as an important goal in its own right. Finally, he will illustrate the part Cambridge can play as a major research university in helping address these sorts of multidisciplinary global challenges.
